Singham Hindi Movie Story Review

Singham is a Hindi remake of the blockbuster of the same name. Director Rohit Shetty takes a break from comedy (the Golmaal series) and goes back to the genre he began with (action thriller Zameen).

In Shivgad, a small village on the border of Maharashtra and Goa, lives honest, diligent police inspector Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn). He is a one-man army fighting injustice and prejudice.

A Sudden stroke of destiny sets up Singham against the most feared and powerful criminal politician in Goa, Jaykant Shikre (Prakash Raj reprising his role original). Singham’s supportive
girlfriend Kavya (Kajal Aggarwal) and the family of the late Rakesh Kadam (Sudhanshu Pandey) make him realise the urgent need to purge the system by eradicating crooks like Jaykant Shikre, who has his finger in every unsavoury pie. From drugs to kidnapping, Shikre is involved in all of
it until Singham decides to take him on by using the law, not breaking it.
