Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Business Class

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has already become an accepted concept and practice. Many business and industrial Commercial Classes (CC) are setting apart a part of their profit for various kinds of social, cultural and charitable activities Some have also established Foundations, which undertake innumerable cultural, social, educational and similar activities. It is obvious that CSR activities give CC a sense of participation in economic and social development of the country. Their public image also goes up,which indirectly helps CC in a variety of ways. They are able to attract good talent as employees and managers. Citizens trust them, and in appreciation buy their products. The Tata Group is a standing example of outstanding contribution as CSR. TIFR, TISS, IISc, Asia’s first Cancer Hospital and innumerable other R&D, cultural and educational institutions are  standing monument to the generosity of the Tata Group.
